The Finance Department consists of a Manager who oversees the responsibilities of two Staff Accountants and two Account Clerks who perform the daily duties of banking, budget, debt service, employee benefits, escrows, financial policy compliance, fixed assets, payroll and business tax administration.

Where Your Real Estate Tax Dollar Goes
Bucks County, Bensalem School District and Bensalem Township are separate entities. They each have separate taxing authority and separate elected officials and do NOT share revenue. County taxes are levied by your elected Bucks County Commissioners. The School taxes are levied by your elected School Board Directors. Township taxes are levied by your elected Township Council. As of July 2007, the Bensalem School District receives 76% of your tax dollar, Bucks County receives 13% of your tax dollar, Bensalem Township receives 10% of your tax dollar, and the Fire Companies and Rescue Squad receive 1% of your tax dollar.
